Marc holds a PhD in Nanoscience, Materials and Chemical Engineering from the Universitat Rovira i Virgili (URV), where he previously earned his degree in Chemistry and completed the Master's in Nanoscience, Materials and Processes: Frontier Chemical Technology (2021). He carried out his doctoral research at the URV's Nanosensors (Chemosens) group, under the supervision of Professors Francisco Javier Andrade and Pascal Blondeau.
He currently works as a Torres Quevedo Postdoctoral Researcher at the startup EOXsense, and collaborates with the Universitat Rovira i Virgili (URV) in teaching and academic activities. He specializes in the development of next-generation electrochemical biosensors, focusing on creating universal sensing platforms that are not only highly sensitive but also adaptable and scalable for real-world applications. These tools have been applied primarily to monitoring athletic performance, tracking metabolic health, and supporting decision-making in clinical and wellness settings.
